Piecing it Together

Nepean Hospital 2017

In 2017 the Mental Health Unit at Nepean hospital, NSW, organised a series of events under the title The Year of the Family.  As part of this, I was commissioned to co-ordinate a mosaic for the space immediately outside the unit.

Over three weeks, 93 clients, staff, carers and friends of the unit each made a mosiac quilt square.  These were taken back to my studio where myself and a team of four put the squares together into panels which were then installed at the hospital.
