TEACHING IN 2010
I am
offering two sessions at Mixed Palette. One is
an evening class over 9 weeks and the other is during the
day over 6 weeks. Both courses cover the same number
of hours.
THURSDAY EVENINGS
9 sessions of 2 hours
Thursdays, 7 - 9
pm. Feb 4 - April 1, 2010
FRIDAY MORNINGS
6 sessions of 3 hours
Fridays 10 am - 1 pm.
Feb 5 - March 11, 2010
General information for both courses
Level -
beginner/intermediate
Use of tools and basic
mosaic materials (vitreous glass tile, glass gems, etc)
sufficient for a piece of this size are supplied, but you
are encouraged to bring extra materials to make your piece
unique and personal.
Both courses include slide
shows which cover mosaic history and give you lots of
inspiration. There is also instruction on health and
safety issues, access to my mosaic library, cutting and
laying mosaic, detailed notes and lots of personal
attention.
Cost per course: $320 including
basic materials, mosaic base, adhesive
and use of tools.
